Rangers have signed midfielder Todd Cantwell from Norwich City on what the Ibrox club say is “a long-term deal”. The 24-year-old, who is Michael Beale’s first signing as Rangers manager, came through the Norwich academy but was out of favour with new boss David Wagner.

Cantwell made 129 appearances for the Canaries, including 45 games in the Premier League, and has had loan spells with Bournemouth and Fortuna Sittard.

Nottingham Forest keen on Navas and Gagliardini

Nottingham Forest are keen to sign Kaylor Navas and Roberto Gagliardini, according to Sky Sports. Injury to goalkeeper Dean Henderson has forced Forest to look for options and PSG’s Navas is on their shortlist. They are also working to bring Inter Milan midfielder Gagliardini who will be a free agent in the summer.

Man United want £25m for Wan-Bissaka

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are willing to sell Leeds United target Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £25 million in the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT. The report published this morning has claimed that Manchester United are looking for £25 million in transfer fees for Wan-Bissaka.

Crystal Palace want to re-sign the 25-year-old right-back, but the club’s hierarchy are not willing to pay that amount. The report has added that due to the Englishman’s ‘impressive recent form deputising for the injured Diogo Dalot’, United boss Ten Hag ‘is less willing to let him go this month’.
