Transfer: Done Deal; Arsenal Told To Pay €40m For Hojlund; Man United Hold Meeting For Lavia

Done deal: Tottenham sack Conte

Manager Antonio Conte has left Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent after 16 months in charge. Conte called the Spurs players “selfish” and criticised the club’s culture in a remarkable news conference after their recent draw at Southampton.

Conte’s assistant Cristian Stellini will step up as head coach for the rest of the season, with former midfielder Ryan Mason his deputy.

Arsenal told to hand over €40m for Hojlund

Arsenal, Real Madrid and Juventus have been told they will have to pay around €40 million (£35m/$43m) to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

The trio have expressed an interest in the Danish striker amid his excellent displays in Serie A and Fichajes reports Atalanta have set their asking price.

Man United hold meeting for Lavia

Southampton’s Romeo Lavia is one of the most in-demand players at the moment considering his vast potential and the fact that the Saints are headed for the Championship.

He has been linked with United along with Chelsea and a return to Manchester City but it appears the Red Devils might have stolen a march over their rivals.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, United have held a meeting with the player’s father regarding a summer move.
