The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar said that despite his support to secure the presidency, president-elect Bola Tinubu will not cooperate with Rivers governor Nyesom Wike. He said Wike had tricked governors Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), and Samuel Ortom (Benue) into joining him in his actions.
Shaibu claimed that betrayal, hypocrisy, and deceit were parts of Wike’s DNA, which led him to disappear outside of Rivers State and become nothing more than a policeman at a Chinese store.
The aide’s statement was in response to a statement by the Rivers state government warning Atiku to “warn him about his attack dogs.” He claimed that even after his support, Tinubu would not part with Wike because the governor of the river is a snake. He said: No one believes his lies anymore, including what he paid to attend an event he sponsored.
Wike invited Peter Obi to Port Harcourt, pretending to commission a project only for him to work for the same Obi, and he named Obi a hero.
