This result came as a surprise to many Nigerians it is amazing that Governor Nyesom Wike being a PDP member lost his State to APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu
According to Punch, the results were announced by the State collation officer, Prof. Charles Adias on Tuesday after collation was completed from the two remaining Local government areas which include Governor Wike’s Obior/Akpor and Degema.
Out of the 25 LGAs in the state, APC won 14, Labour Party won 5 while PDP claimed the remaining 4 local government areas. As of Monday, results from 23 LGAs have been collated while the remaining 2 were added today.
