He described the move by ODM as that of people who want to benefit from blood of young Kenyans who threw themselves to the streets to reclaim their country from auction and poor leadership.

“Myself have been on record. I am against hijacking the demand for accountability by the Gen Zs and making it an opposition thing. Let the Gen Zs express themselves so that we can examine their demands,” Karua stated.

“I believe each of their demands is rooted in the Constitution including accountability. What the Gen Zs are asking is putting Kenya first,” Karua stated.

Asked about the idea of national conversation, the Narc-Kenya Party boss said, the Ruto-Raila dialogue will not amount to anything as before and added that this is diversionary tactics from the real biting issues that require urgent implementation.

“Do the things that the Gen Zs are saying, If you exit and want us to talk after you exit then that is okay. If people show a lack of confidence in you then you should resign,” the formerAzimioprincipal said further.

She also used the opportunity to accuse the head of State of presiding over police brutality, abductions and killings amid democratic protests.

Karua was saying these just one week after she formally pulled out of theirAzimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition which they formed in 2022 for general election.
