Moja Expressway, the company responsible for managing the road, announced that further communication regarding the reopening time will be provided.

According to the marathon’s official website, the expressway closure will last from 10 p.m. on Saturday until 4 p.m. on Sunday.

“The resumption of normal operations will be communicated in due course. We kindly urge all motorists to plan their journeys in advance,” Moja Expressway advised.

This year’s marathon promises to be an exciting challenge, with the theme focused on “pushing ourselves to the limit and achieving our personal best.”

The second edition of the event, held on July 2, 2023, saw impressive performances as new champions set record-breaking times.

Robert Kipkemboi claimed victory with a time of 2:07:38, while Naomi Jebet crossed the finish line at 2:24:33.
