Stephen Mwangi Kamau allegedly sent a life-threatening WhatsApp message to Ichung’wah on June 20, 2024.

Kamau faces other counts including cyber harassment.

He willfully and unlawfully published a threatening statement directed to Ichung’wah with information which the court heard was likely to cause apprehension or fear of violence to the Member of Parliament.

The accused also allegedly sent another abusive message to Ichung’wah on the same day at 00:53 a.m.

He denied the charges before the judge at the Milimani Law Court.

The court ordered the accused to pay a cash bail of Sh100,000 or a bond of Sh300,000. The case will be mentioned on July 7, 2024…CONTINUE READING>>
