Senior Principal Magistrate Peter Ndege issued arrest warrants against five other individuals linked to the multi-billion scandal, including two who were bonded by the court.

Magistrate Ndege ordered that Hillary Ruto, Stephen Lel, and Edwin Lel, suspects in the scandal be arrested.

The court further directed that key witnesses Mercy Tarus and Joel Koech appear before the court.

The case involves the mismanagement of funds which were intended to facilitate a collaborative education programme between the County Government of Uasin Gishu and Universities in Finland.
