According to Bomet Central Sub-County Police Chief Bashir Ali, the deceased is suspected to have died about a week ago, without the knowledge of his relatives, friends, or school management.
“A team of DCI officers visited the scene to determine the exact cause of death. We want to avoid speculation and rely on evidence. We were informed that he had rented the apartment and was living alone,” said Ali.
He also revealed that the teacher, who worked at a school within Bomet Central Sub-County, did not leave any notes that could aid in the investigation.
