Branding the Kenyan police as invaders, Barbecue insisted on his unwillingness to cooperate, fearing their intervention would encroach upon Haiti’s sovereignty.
“Any Kenyan military or police presence will be viewed as aggression. We categorize them as invaders and refuse to collaborate with any force that seeks to undermine our independence,” stated Jimmy
However, Barbecue expressed a willingness to cease hostilities if his faction received representation in the ongoing formation of the transition committee.
For the past three years, Barbecue claimed to have been approached for negotiations but maintained his stance, insisting on continuing the conflict until his demands were acknowledged.

While promising tough resistance against any foreign intervention, Barbecue vowed to intensify efforts to fend off external forces meddling in the ongoing clashes.
“Each passing day necessitates a fresh approach for advancement. However, there will be no tranquility. The situation will deteriorate as long as comprehensive dialogue remains absent. The existing system will only perpetuate itself,” he added.
