Karua who was speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday night said that the emergence of armed people who claim to be business people during demonstrations in major town has left her wondering why the Kenya Kwanza administration is encouraging thuggery.
“We are now seeing uniform rungus all over the country by people who claim to be businessmen safeguarding their business premises, prompting me to wonder which factory the KK regime has found. Is the Kenya Kwanza regime encouraging thuggery?” Karua posed
When pressed by Citizen TV presenter Yvonne Okwara whether she was insinuating that the alleged business men were goons sponsored by the government, Karua confidently confirmed that they were goons sponsored by the government to find ways to defend themselves.
“Are you saying that those people were are seeing saying they are protecting their businesses are sponsored by the Kenya Kwanza administration?” Yvonne Okwara asked her
“It appears so and we have reasons. They have emerged in the wake of demonstrations and they have emerged when the Kenya Kwanza administration appears to be looking for excuse for the murder and mayhem visited upon the peaceful protesters.” She added
The former Justice Minister said that it is high time the government of Kenya allow Kenyans to hold the peaceful protesters provided for in the constitution, adding that the Gen Zs have proved to be peaceful in the past....CONTINUE READING>>
