On 4th August 2024, the suspect reportedly picked up a quarrel with his wife in their neighborhood, accusing her of infidelity.
The argument escalated into a physical fight that continued at their home in Buyege Cell, resulting in the destruction of household items.
The suspect then allegedly attacked his wife with a panga, causing severe injuries to her legs, hands, and head, leaving her unconscious.
Neighbors rushed her to Kasanje Health Center III for first aid and treatment.
