A brace from Osimhen and a Zielinski penalty were enough for Napoli as they cruise through to their first Champions League quarter-final after a 3-0 home win against Frankfurt.
Osimhen struck on the brink of half-time – powering home Politano’s cross – before adding his second in the 53rd minute when he swept home Di Lorenzo’s low cross.
Frankfurt failed to threaten for most of the tie and only made matters worse when Sow brought down Zielinski in the box later in the half.
The midfielder stepped up to score Napoli’s third and complete a sublime 5-0 aggregate win for the Italian side.
Napoli march on in the Champions League and there won’t be many teams queuing up to face them in the next round.
It is Serie A action next, though, for Spalletti’s side who travel to face Torino on Sunday. Frankfurt’s European journey comes to an end for this season and they now travel to face Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
After the completion of the match, Nigeria & Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen was named the man of the match after his impressive performance against Eintracht Frankfurt.
His goals helped the Italian heavyweights comfortably book a spot in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
