The 27 year old Nigerian international was handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI line-up following his outstanding performance for the team in their previous game and he was able to deliver yet at the peak.

Kevin Akpoguma in the whole 90 minutes duration of the game was exceptional for the host at the heart of the defence line where he made some decisive and dangerous clearances to deny the visitor some clear cut chances that could have been converted into goals.

Two first half goals scored via penalty by Andrej Kramaric in the 24th and 37th minute of the game gave the host a double lead going into the half time break which ended two goals to nil.

The host in the second half of the game were more dominating as they put up some more dazzling displays and as such got their lead extended in the 51st minute courtesy of a goal from Ihlas Bebou to make it three goals to nil, before the visitor put one back to get the deficit reduced with a goal from Stevan Jovetic in the 92nd minute to make it three goals to one at full time.
