The Saudi Professional Football League played their match day 20 of the current campaign yesterday with several matches played across different venues with the standings on the table taking effect.
Al Nassr yesterday played their 20th league game of the season away from home against Al-Ittihad FC at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
Al Nassr went into the game sitting at the top of the table with two points clear ahead of the host of the night but ended the game at the second spot after losing with a one nil narrow defeat.
The only second half goal scored by Romarinho made the difference between the two sides at full time as it ended one nil in favour of Al-Ittihad FC.
As such, Al Nassr with the result of the night have now moved to the second place on the table with one point trailing from behind going into their next game to be played at home against Abha.
Clubs like Al-Shabab, Al-Taawon, Al-Hilal, Al-Fateh, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Taee among others also make the top ten on the league table as it stands.
Al Nassr with the disappointing night will be hoping and optimistic to be back to their top form in the next game so as to get back to winning ways as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
