In a comment on Facebook, the subscriber decried the turn of events that left him with just KSh 30. “I allow you to reverse money sent wrongly to my account, but you can’t assist me reverse the money I sent wrongly to someone’s account,” Lameck complained.

Safaricom asked him to report the incident to the police. “Hey, Lameck, the recipient had already used part of the money, and you were advised to report to the police for further assistance. Apologies for the inconvenience,” the telco responded.
