The Wiper party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) now wants Dadaab MP Farah Maalim kicked out of the party over inflammatory remarks against youthful Kenyan protesters.
In the undated video, Maalim, while speaking in the Somali dialect, said that if he were the President of Kenya, he would have ” slaughtered 5,000 Gen Z protesters ” during the recent wave of anti-Finance Bill 2024 demonstrations.
Wiper distanced itself from the remarks made by the MP – who is also the deputy party leader – further calling for his removal from all Parliament committees.
