Credible reports from Kenyans.co.ke reveal that Patrick, a Pre-Primary Two student, collapsed during a four-kilometre walk organised by his school.

The incident has caused concern and anger from his family, who question whether proper care was taken during the event at the Thika-based school.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the boy’s death occurred despite his mother, Wawira, requesting that her son be exempted from the activity due to his reluctance to participate. Reports indicate that the school did not honour Wawira’s request, leading to Patrick’s death.

“My son called me right before the event, and he was very upset,” Wawira tearfully recounted. “I asked the school not to let him take part, but they ignored me. Now, I’m left wondering why they didn’t follow my instructions.”

Patrick was promptly transported to Avenue Hospital in Thika by teachers but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The family of the deceased has expressed disappointment with the school’s handling of the tragic situation, claiming they have not received sufficient explanations.

Thika Police Commander Lawrence Mushangi said that an investigation is ongoing to ascertain the cause of the boy’s death.

Patrick’s funeral is planned to be held today on Saturday, September 7….CLICK HERE FOR MORE ARTICLE>>>
