Vinicius Junior’s exquisite shot in the seventh minute gave Brazil a strong lead in the match. When Richarlison was fouled in the penalty area in the 12th minute, things for Brazil only got better. Neymar scored Brazil’s second goal from the penalty spot with ease.

Brazil took complete control of the game after goals from Richarlison and Paqueta. In the second half, things were different for Brazil since South Korea appeared to be more threatening in the final third.

In the dying minutes of the match, Paik’s left-footed strike beat Alisson in the Brazilian goal to give the Asian team a consolation goal.

Richarlison’s performance in today’s game shows why he should be starting ahead of Son at Tottenham Hotspur. The Brazilian attacker was by far the most dangerous player in the final third in today’s game.

Richarlison recorded three shots, won a penalty, created two chances, recovered the ball four times, completed four key passes, and mustered three dribbles in the game.

On the other hand, it was a feeble performance from Son who had no shot on target, created no chance, lost possession three times, recovered the ball once, and completed 2/5 of his attempted dribbles.

Richarlison’s display in today’s game shows he deserves to be starting ahead of Son at club level because his work ethic is unbelievable.
