Despite their good run of form, Manchester United are well aware of the need to further improve their squad and have been linked with a move for experienced Brighton forward Kaoru Mitoma.
The 25-year-old Japan International, who signed up for Brighton after departing Kawasaki Frontale back in 2021 has proven to be an important member of the first-team squad.
The experienced left-winger has been played very brilliantly so far this 2022/2023 season having scored nine goals and provided six assists in the 27 matches he has played.
His excellent performances on the wings is believed to have caught the attention of Manchester United and according to reports from Daily Mail, the Red Devils are keen on signing him.
The reports further claimed that Manchester United football club are really interested in Kaoru Mitoma and have now added the talented left-winger to their summer transfer list.
It is believed that Manchester United are looking to move on from the under-performing Jadon Sancho and are willing to sign Kaoru Mitoma as an immediate replacement next season.
That said, it remains to be seen if Manchester United football club will be able to reach an agreement with Brighton and secure the signing of Kaoru Mitoma in the summer.
