And if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea football club have been linked with a transfer move for highly-rated Napoli centre-forward Victor Osimhen next summer.
The 24-year-old Nigeria International, who signed up for Napoli after departing Ligue 1 side Lille back in 2020 has been an important member of the first-team squad since he made the move.
The young striker has been hugely influential for Napoli so far this ongoing 2022/2023 football season, scoring 25 goals and providing five assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
His impressive performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea football club and according to reports from Daily Mail, the Blues are keen on signing him.
The reports further claimed that Chelsea are really interested in Victor Osimhen and are now willing to offer experienced winger Christian Pulisic plus some cash in order to sweeten the deal.
It is believed that Chelsea manager Graham Potter wants to solve his goalscoring issues and he has now identified Victor Osimhen as a needed addition to his squad next summer.
But then, it remains to be seen if Napoli football club will be interested in accepting Christian Pulisic plus cash and sanction the sale of Victor Osimhen when the transfer window opens.
