Chelsea defender, Reece James sent a message to the supporters of the club apologising for how they failed to meet their expectation this season. The English man spent most part of his time in this campaign in the hospital due to hamstring injury he suffered on several occasions.
James posted the message on his official Instagram account on Friday, May 26th, 2023.
I won’t be back for the last game [against Newcastle]. It’s been tough for me. I’m sorry this season hasn’t gone as we all wanted. Next season I’ll be back stronger than ever, and we’ll be back fighting for trophies.
Chelsea are looking forward to competing in all competitions next season and they hope that most of their key players will be fit for the most part of the 2023/24 season.
