Reactions As President Joe Biden Makes A Phone Call To The USMNT Ahead Of Their World Cup Opener

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is well and truly underway and the opening game was played on 20 November 2022. Enner Valencia scored a first-half double as Ecador eased to a 2-0 win over host Qatar.

U.S.A will lock horns with Wales on Monday and president Joe Biden has made a phone call to the USMNT to wish them good luck ahead of the tournament.

In his words; “coach put me on I’m ready to play. I know you guys are underdog. I will tell you that you have some of the best players in the world on your team and you representing this country and I know you will play your hearts out, so let’s go and shock them all”.

“Keep trusting one another, play as hard as you can, for you and your family, your teammates, and whole country is rooting for you”.

After the president finished talking, The USMNT coach replied to him saying; “that’s a very nice message Mr. President. The whole team is here right now, we really appreciate your support, and we are ready to go”.
