Over the last few days, the Ligue 1 giants have been linked to Bayern Munich’s Lucas Hernandez. Furthermore, the French media relays that PSG and the 27-year-old defender have agreed.

Nonetheless, L’Equipe reported (h/t Culture PSG) on Thursday that while it reaffirms that PSG and Hernandez have an agreement, should they fail to land the France international, Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte is Plan B for Campos.

Laporte also ticks the boxes that PSG wants as the 28-year-old is a left-footed center-back and the English club might be more open to letting the defender, who’s under contract until 2025, exit.

The former Athletic Club central defender is reportedly looking for a starting role. If Hernandez doesn’t go through, Laporte would be a quality Plan B as he’s also French, as the capital club hopes to increase that aspect in their club next season.
