While that is the case, today President William Ruto proved that he is not a lying President but he only needs more time to fulfill many of his promises. That is because while rolling out Climate Works Project in Nairobi County, the Commander in Chief gave the youths good news as he told them that he has finally created jobs for them.

According to Ruto, he targets to employ 200,000 youths in the project. He made it clear that the project will be starting in Nairobi on October 1, 2024, a move that will definitely silence all his critics and those people who were claiming that he won’t deliver.

For now, finger are crossed as youths, among them Gen Z who have been demonstrating in the country wait to know their fate. Many of them will be hoping that their names will be picked and soon enough, they will start earning from the government.

Whether or not the project will pick up and youths hired is not yet known for now but probably, it will be messy if Ruto’s promise turn out to be hot air.
