Back-to-back early goals for Casemiro gave Manchester United the lead in the first half. He scored the only goal against Bournemouth the last time. However, Christian Eriksen delivered the assist for Casemiro’s header against Chelsea.
According to BBC Sport, Christian Eriksen has now assisted eight goals against Chelsea in his career. He hasn’t assisted more against any other team.
On the same note, Christian Eriksen has now assisted 10 goals in all competitions for Manchester United, while only Bruno Fernandes (13) has provided more. Casemiro again pulled a clean pass that opened Chelsea’s defense line up as Sancho assisted Martial for the second goal.
Fernandes gets the better of Fofana and goes down as the defender dangles out a leg in the second half. The referee points to the spot, and he converts it.
Marcus Rashford made it four and becomes the first player since Robin Van Persie back in 2013 to get 30 goals in a season for Manchester United. Felix, however, scored a consolation goal for Chelsea.
