Pregnancy can only occur, if there is a womb present in the body. The womb is a place where the fetus develops. A man only has a penis and testicles, but he doesn’t have a uterus. There are women who keep their uterus and ovaries, after taking testosterone therapy to change into a man.

When they take testosterone therapy, it helps to reduce the effects of estrogen, while stimulating the development of masculine characteristics. This can make it possible for them to give birth because, testosterone therapy doesn’t stop them from getting pregnant. An example is Thomas Beatie, who was the first man to get pregnant.

According to a research in 2014, there have been over 41 transgender men who has gotten pregnant. People who were assigned male at birth, may give birth through uterine transplantation. A uterine transplant is a surgical procedure that transplants a healthy uterus, into a person’s body.

It has not yet been concluded that men can get pregnant, through this procedure. With the way science and technology is improving in the medical sector, it may be possible for people who don’t have a uterus to get pregnant.
