The publication reports that Gachagua would be interviewed live on Mt. Kenya’s vernacular media outlets on Sunday, August 4.

This interview comes after a period of substantial turbulence in his office over the last two years, punctuated by various obstacles that have placed him in a difficult situation.

“This is now a bigger problem than it was when Mr Gachagua was shadowboxing Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi. We now have opposition chief Raila Odinga inside that government controlling six powerful dockets and still agitating for more,” Prof Munene said.

Ten key topics have surfaced when he addresses the Gikuyu, Embu, and Meru populations that make up the nation of Mount Kenya. These issues will keep many people hooked to their screens and radios in search of answers.

Mr. Wachira Kiago of the Kikuyu Council of Elders underlined that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua should prioritize economic development over political posturing.

He noted that the Deputy President must clearly express the timing for the planned agricultural changes outlined in the economic charters signed with President Ruto during the election campaign.

Mr. Kiago went on to say that the region is hesitant to spend five years in political fights that do not improve the local population’s quality of life.
