Last weekend, we spent the weekend together. On Sunday morning, she asked me to drop her off at her base. We drove to the army base, and I thought she was joking, but she wasn’t. When we got to the gate, I was so nervous that I don’t know if my car engine went off or if it was just me. I managed to drop her off, and she thanked me. I drove away in a daze.
Later that day, she chatted with me and asked if I was surprised. I said not really and that I was proud of her.
