Today in the English Premier League, Manchester City welcomed their neighbours and rivals, Manchester United to the Etihad Stadium, hoping to maintain their winning run as they look to defend their title.
A goal from Foden at the 8th minute saw Man City get an early lead in the game. At the 34th minute, Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland added another goal to the home team’s lead after scoring a header.
Three minutes later, Haaland found the back of the net again, making the score line 3-0. A second goal from Foden at the closing minutes of the opening half made it 4-0 by half-time.
Manchester United began the second half well and were rewarded with a goal from Antony. However, a third goal from Haaland at the 64th minute saw the home team regain their four goals lead. With Foden and Martial adding to the score sheet, the game ended 6-3 with Man City taking all points.
