The Nigeria international who trended in the transfer market with such clubs as PSG, Arsenal, Chelsea and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli linked with him could not make a switch to any of the suitors with Napoli uncompromising in its demands.
Chelsea’s late attempts to complete a deal for Osimhen and Al-Ahli’s failure to convince both player and the Serie A club means the striker will remain at Napoli.
However, the Nigerian will no longer feature for the club, according to L’Équipe journalist Loïc Tanzi.
Whilst a move to Al-Ahli may still be on the table, given that the Saudi Arabian transfer window only closes on Monday, Osimhen seemingly no longer has any future at his current club, Napoli.
