Sudi remarked that Miguna and other leaders had infiltrated a noble accountability drive that had been initiated by Gen Z.
The legislator further claimed that he was the one who told President William Ruto to clear Miguna to return back to Kenya after he was deported by former President Uhuru Kenya. “I was surprised that an aged person like you could incite Gen Z who are our children,” Sudi lashed out.
He explained that the incitement mostly happened on X Spaces where Miguna is an active participant. “When Gen Z started their protests, I supported them because they had genuine issues. I knew they had now come of age and understood governance issues,” Sudi explained.
Sudi termed Miguna as an impostor who used the Gen Z movement to push for anarchy. According to Sudi, the ultimate goal for Miguna and other leaders cheering protests is to see Kenya succumb to lawlessness and civil war.
He wondered why Miguna cheered on the occupation of Parliament and other constitutional offices. “Let us air our issues in a manner that we are not going to destroy the country,” he urged Kenyans.
Speaking of Miguna’s time in exile, Sudi remarked that he regretted Miguna’s homecoming three years after Miguna landed back in the country in 2022.
According to Sudi, he hosted Miguna immediately after he touched down in Kenya but after a 3-hour conversation realised why the former administration had deported him.
