The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the Inspector General of Police to probe the alleged compromise by security personnel in the just concluded Governorship election in Ondo State .

Chief Sanya Atofarati, the SouthWest zonal publicity secretary in a statement said the party took the decision after reviewing the events surrounding the poll.
The party also called on President Bola Tinubu to call to order the alleged unwarranted threats by the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Abdullahi Ganduje to arm-twist the electoral process in Ekiti, Osun, and Oyo states,.
“We affirm, without equivocation, that Ganduje lacks justification to speak on moral issues.
“We therefore appealed to our teaming members in the SouthWest to remain calm and law-abiding even in the face of the current intimidation. As a party established by law, we shall continue to work with our legal team while we seek justice in due course.” The statement reads.
