Odhiambo boasted of his political acumen, asserting that he could secure victory on any party ticket and disavowing any possibility of failure, including the possibility of representing a fictitious “rat’s political party.”
According to The Star, he stated, “No ODM candidate can defeat me on the ballot, even if I run on the platform of a rat’s political party.” In spite of party complications and internal dissension, Odhiambo projected a resounding triumph in the upcoming election, articulating a sense of assurance.
He made insinuations regarding his involvement in the “deep state,” which suggested he had influence over the electoral process, asserting that the Deep State would declare him the sole victor of the election.
