According to Daily Post, Obi, who met with house of assembly candidates in Awka behind closed doors.

Addressing to journalists following the closed-door meeting, Obi stated that he had tasked the candidates to victory while also directing them to work with the state governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, if they were successful.

Obi was responding to a video in which the governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, stated that he will not collaborate with members of other political parties who emerge in the House of Assembly.

“We are not encouraging anyone to impeach anyone else. We met with our assembly members and are urging Nigerians to vote for the Labour Party.

“We are not requesting that someone be impeached. Citizens should not be concerned about impeachment. In Nigeria, we only want to get things right.”
