He says he still being careful of sexual temptations despite his age and long journey in the ministry.
Speaking at a recent church conference, Adeboye warned other church leaders not to think their spiritual power protects them from temptation.
He said:
“I run faster than before because the closer you get to the finishing point, the more careful you must be.”
He used the Biblical Samson to show that even powerful religion figures can fall into temptation.
Adeboye advises both men and women to be cautious:
“You see that woman smiling at you everywhere you go, she’s there smiling and she’s not your wife, run.”
He also warned young people about lust, telling them to avoid anything that looks like sin.
