The three-time African Cup of Nations champions currently occupy the top spot in their section with six points, following their back-to-back win over Sierra Leone and Sao Tome in their previous qualifying games and they will be hoping to get another victory over Guinea-Bissau to brighten their chances of qualifying for the 2024 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

The Super Eagles on Monday commenced their preparation for the much-anticipated clash against Guinea-Bissau with 17 out of the 23 invited players present during their first training session.

The players currently in camp include Ahmed Musa, Akpoguma, Joe Aribo, Ademola Lookman, Aniagboso, Alex Iwobi, Uzoho, Sochima, Moffi, Bameyi, Ndidi, Simon Onachu, Omeruo, Osayi, and Onyeka. However, the likes of Victor Osimhen, Bassey, and other invited players are expected to arrive at the training camp on Tuesday.
