Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has called on Kenyans to actively pursue job opportunities abroad when they are advertised by the Ministry of Labour.

Nyoro said that Ruto’s administration is making efforts to get job opportunities abroad, but Kenyans are not applying for the openings.

“With all the efforts President Ruto is making to create jobs, please take advantage of these opportunities,” Nyoro urged.

Nyoro expressed concern over the low application rate and urged Kenyans to stay vigilant about job openings.

He referenced the recent advertisement by the Ministry of Health for 2,000 nursing positions abroad, offering a salary of KSh 200,000.

He said that despite the attractive offer, only around 500 people applied, leaving a substantial number of positions unfilled.

“Recently, our Ministry advertised 2,000 nursing positions abroad with a salary of KSh 200,000, but only around 500 people applied. The rest missed out. When you hear about job openings, don’t ignore them,” Nyoro said.
