Ann met the Nigerian man in Nairobi while working; he approached her for directions, and their exchange led to him asking for her number. A seemingly innocent encounter soon developed into a friendship. They met at Garden City, and he later took her to his house, treating her well. However, she later discovered he only took her to Airbnbs, never revealing his actual residence.
Their relationship took a dark turn when Ann discovered she was pregnant. The man, who initially treated her well, drastically changed, making it clear he didn’t want the child and revealing he was dating another woman. The situation escalated when Ann realized she was being followed, even by the man himself. After confronting him, she learned he had hired people to keep tabs on her.
Fearing for her safety, Ann reported the matter to the police, who called the man and summoned him to the station. He, along with his friends in expensive cars, arrived the next day, not denying the accusations but claiming he wasn’t directly following her. The police warned him that he would be the prime suspect if anything happened to Ann.
