According to Pamela, her mom gave birth to her before she got married and left her with her grandmother. After her mother got married, Pamela went through a hard time because her grandmother had no source of income despite her old age.
Pamela went to school but didn’t complete her studies due to a lack of school fees. She had to leave home at a tender age in search of a job, wanting to help her grandmother because her mother didn’t take care of them.
She worked as a househelp, and while there, she got into a relationship, got married, and had a child. They later had misunderstandings and parted ways. Pamela went back to the village, where life was still tough.
She left her child with her grandmother and went to search for a job. After working as a househelp for a few months, she decided to start a business. Her business thrived, and she was able to buy a piece of land and build a house.
While there, she got married again, they were blessed with more children, and lived happily. She was later informed that her mother was sick back in the village. Since she was well-off, she took her mother to Aga Khan Hospital, where she was diagnosed with stage three cancer.
Pamela used all her savings and even applied for loans to ensure her mother received treatment. Her mother recovered, and Pamela took her into her home to recover fully. Unfortunately, Pamela became bankrupt, and her business collapsed. She started having misunderstandings with her husband, who left the house but continued to pay school fees for the kids and provide food.
Pamela decided to sell onions, and her business thrived once again. However, she had to go to the garden to get the onions, sometimes returning late or the following day. Pamela’s mother called her husband and told him that Pamela had neglected her family and only cared about her business.
