Against our marriage, my siblings warned me that if I married him, they would disassociate themselves from me. I was confident in my husband’s promises and believed that we would have the perfect marriage above everything. He promised that I would never have to change my religion and beliefs.
Now, years into my marriage and with three children, he is threatening to throw me and my children out if I don’t convert to Islam.
