After dropping out of school due to poverty, she went to Nairobi where she was employed as a house helper. She found her boss pregnant, and after nine months, she went to the hospital to deliver. On that day, her husband returned home very early and told her to babysit their firstborn, saying he would cook for them.
After they finished eating, she put the child on her bed and proceeded to her bedroom to take a shower. After she was done, she found the man naked on her bed. He pulled her hand and forcefully slept with her. He warned her not to inform his wife, or else he would kill her and dispose of her body.
She started falling sick after one month. Since the wife had not recovered from the C-section, he took her to the hospital, and the doctor confirmed she was pregnant. He bought her malaria medicine to lie to his wife that she was suffering from malaria.
After six months, she was unable to hide it, and when her boss saw her, she demanded an explanation of who was responsible for the pregnancy. She told her everything that happened when she was away.
