During his appearance at Bloodsport XI, MVP clarified that he does not intend to return to WWE after his contract expires. Instead, MVP expressed a keen interest in participating in future Bloodsport events and challenged Josh Barnett, who agreed to battle him. Moreover, earlier, it was reported that MVP’s WWE contract would expire in the middle of this month.

However, Dave Meltzer revealed in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his WWE contract officially ends today, August 2. But neither MVP nor WWE has publicly commented on his departure.

Furthermore, fans have shown excitement about the potential match between MVP and Barnett. With MVP officially now a free agent as per the new report, it would be interesting to see him begin a thrilling new chapter in his wrestling career and also possibly pursue other endeavours.
