The Red Devils were able to beat the Spanish La Liga side home and away to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition. The Red Devils ventured into the game to beat Fulham to advance to the semi-finals.
The first half ended in a draw, but the second half came in with lots of drama as Fulham took the lead. Just a few minutes after the goal United rose and started playing well. They were able to grab a penalty kick after William handed the ball into the eighteen-yard box.
Fulham’s goal scorer Mitrovic was also sent off after he pushed the referee. Manchester United took the advantage and completed their comeback, with Marcel Sabitzer scoring his first Manchester United goal since he joined Bayern Munich.
