The Vioja Mahakamani’s co star Ondiek Nyukakwota offered an insight into how family and friends celebrated the beautiful life she lived on his social media.
Nykakwota announced the death of Purity Wambui a week ago, as he paid tribute to her on 1 June.
She had been battling cancer.
Purity was laid to rest on 13 June at the Langata Cemetry.
“A visit to the doctor revealed she had stage 4 breast cancer. Despite her health challenges, she remained strong and hopeful, spending as much time as possible with her loved ones. She was admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital on May 29 and sadly, she passed away on June 1,” the eulogy read in part.
She had been married to Makokha for 31 years and together, they were blessed with four beautiful children.
