Mbadiwill be launching the process today at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi in an event that is expected to be graced by MP Ndindi Nyoro who is the chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee, and Chris Kiptoo, the Principal Secretary of the National Treasury.
Although he had last month stipulated measures he seeks to initiate to salvage the country’s economic prospects among them the comprehensive re-engineering of Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to boost tax collection, Mbadi faces an uphill battle to revitalise Kenya’s debts, regenerate new taxes in the wake of shrinking revenues to help the Kenya Kwanza administration meet its developments plan.
