The same woman is accused of all three offenses.
Greenwood, who has one cap for England, will show up in court on Monday at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court.
He was granted bail in the same court last month with the requirements that he stay at a residence on Bow Green Road in Bowdon and refrain from communicating with witnesses, including the complainant.
After pictures and videos were posted online, the player was detained for the first time in January on allegations involving a young woman.
He had been released on bail since then, but on October 15 he was detained in the Trafford region for allegedly violating his release conditions. A few days later, he was released on bail once again.
Between November 2018 and October of this year, Greenwood is charged with engaging in controlling and coercive behavior. During that time, she is also alleged to have accessed and monitored the complainant’s social media accounts and made threatening and derogatory remarks to the complainant.
In December 2021, a charge of assault resulting in actual bodily harm was brought.
Within hours of the allegations appearing online at the beginning of the year, Greenwood was barred from participating in games and practices with the Old Trafford club.
Greenwood’s sponsorship agreement with Nike was put on hold before being terminated, and Electronic Arts confirmed that he had been dropped from the Fifa 22 game’s active squads.
