Do remember that the Gunners have been in an impressive form since the start of the 2022/2023 football season and are currently occupying the first position on the Premier League table.

However despite their good run of form in the Premier League, the North London club are very much aware of the need to improve their team by signing some new players.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Arsenal football club have been linked with a move for experienced Real Madrid forward Marco Asensin when the transfer window opens.

The 27-year-old Spain International, who signed up for Real Madrid after departing Mallorca back in 2015 has been an important member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The experienced right-winger has been quite involved for Real Madrid so far this 2022/2023 season, scoring six goals and providing five assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.

However, Marco Asensio has less than four months left on his current contract with Real Madrid and having not signed a new contract, he is now planning to leave the club.

And according to reports from Daily Mail, Marco Asensio is attracting interests from Premier League side Arsenal football club as we approach the end of the season.

The reports further claimed that Arsenal football club are really interested in Marco Asensio and are willing to lure him away from Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer.

But then, it remains to be seen where the experienced right-winger will choose to continue his football career if he eventually gets to leave Real Madrid football club on a free transfer in June.
