This has seen them record a net spend of €608 million in the past five seasons. Last summer alone, the Red Devils signed Antony Santos, Casemiro, and Lisandro Martinez for big money fees.
The second club with the highest net spend since the 2018/19 season is Chelsea. The Blues have been signing players for fun in the last two transfer windows and this has seen their net spending rise to €566 million so far.
So far, Mykhailo Mydryk has been signed for €100 million, and Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, and Noni Madueke have been signed by Todd Boehly.
The third club with the highest net spend in the world in the last five years is Arsenal. The Gunners have spent big on the likes of Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Mahalgaes, Ben White, and Gabriel Jesus in the last few years. This has seen their net spending climb to €489 million.
Surprisingly, West Ham United is fourth on the list with a net spend of €395 million. French Ligue 1 side, Paris Saint-Germain comes fifth with a total net spend of €372 million.
