Over the weekend, they extended their incredible form after hijacking Fulham’s 1-0 lead to clinch a 3 – 1 win over them.
Obviously, there were no questions about the English Premier League giants Manchester United being considerable favourites to win the tie based on their previous home records against Fulham. However, Fulham has proven to be a tough side capable of producing strong competition so far this season.
After their 3 – 1 win over Fulham, they progress to the quarterfinal stage of the FA Cup. This would be an amazing season for Manchester United if they can go on to pick two trophies or even three since they still have a shot at the UEFA Europa League title. Judging from the fixtures lined up for them, they might have some tough tests to combat if they must keep this moment.
Let’s take a look at Man United’s next four matches in all competitions;
1. NEWCASTLE UNITED VS MAN UNITED: Newcastle’s form in the league has been high above expectations. They have shown they can offset any game and when they gave Manchester united in their next game scheduled to take place at Saint James’ Park, things could swing either way.
2. MAN UNITED VS BRENTFORD: The Red devils will have to take the fight to Brentford since they have another chance to redeem themselves this season, having lost the first league tie to the Bees. The league match will be played on the 5th of April, 2023.
3. MAN UNITED VS EVERTON: The EPL encounter between both clubs is scheduled for the 8th of April, 2023.
4. MAN UNITED VS SEVILLA: This would be an interesting fixture for the Red Devils as they face Spanish rivals Sevilla in the UEL encounter that will be played at Old Trafford. Sevilla have been tough opponents for Manchester United to deal with and when you consider their history in the tournament, you know it is a tough test for the English side.
